      <image:caption>Soprano Amy Petrongelli revels in performing music of all different periods and styles. Lauded in the New York Times for her “admirable fluidity,” her diverse solo performance career encompasses music from Haydn’s Creation in Carnegie Hall to Berio’s Sequenza III at the Radio Nacional Córdoba in Argentina. In 2020, Amy was honored with an Emerging Artist Award from the University of Michigan for her significant contributions to the field of music performance. An advocate for contemporary music, Amy has premiered new works for organizations such as the Houston Grand Opera, New American Voices, and AEPEX Contemporary Performance; recent collaborations and premiers include works by composers such as Christopher Cerrone, Laura Kaminsky, and Julianna Hall. Along with pianist Clare Longendyke, she co-founded the Music in Bloom Festival in 2018; Music in Bloom is an annual 3-day summer chamber music festival dedicated to promoting music of the 21st century. Amy’s commitment to musical collaboration has led her to fellowships at summer programs such as the Tanglewood Music Center, Eighth Blackbird Creative Lab, New Music on the Point, and Fall Island Vocal Arts Seminar. She has also been a featured performer for organizations such as Five Boroughs Music Festival, the Casement Fund Recital Series, the Contemporary Undercurrent of Song Project, and the Great Lakes Chamber Music Festival. A passionate educator, Amy is currently an Assistant Professor of Voice at the University of Georgia.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Flutist Mary Matthews enjoys an active career as an international soloist, chamber musician, orchestral flutist, and pedagogue, and has performed on four continents in venues such as Carnegie Hall, Severance Hall, the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Fundação Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina, Festival Goethe Institut Música Nueva, and Cité Internationale des Arts. She is currently on faculty at Tennessee Tech University’s School of Music, and in August of 2023, she will join the flute faculty at Florida State University’s College of Music. She serves as principal flutist of the Bryan Symphony Orchestra and performs regularly with orchestras such as the Nashville Symphony, Knoxville Symphony, Chattanooga Symphony, and the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra, among others. As a chamber musician, she is a member of Khemia Ensemble, the Maryland Chamber Winds, and Duo Rossignol.  An active studio musician and recording artist, Mary can be heard on soundtracks for film, TV, and video games on Netflix, HBO, and Disney. She has released four albums including Intersections on the Ravello Records label, Three-Nine Line on the MSR Classics label, Charuhas on the Naxos Label, and Preludes &amp; Recitations on the Tonsehen Records label. She has a fifth album forthcoming in 2023 with the Maryland Chamber Winds. Her solo and chamber performances have taken her around the world, including recitals in France, Australia, Brazil, and Bolivia, and she has appeared as a concerto soloist on several occasions with ensembles in the United States.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Clarinetist Thiago Ancelmo has an active career as chamber musician, educator, and orchestra player. Awarded in more than ten competitions, including the prestigious “New Talents of Brazilian Music”, he has performed in eleven countries in three continents.  An enthusiast of the music of our time, Thiago performs music by an eclectic group of collaborators such as Heinz Holliger, Jack Quartet, David Lang, Nina Shekhar, and others. He is a founding member of Khemia Ensemble. Khemia has embarked on national and international tours, performed at music festivals, and held residencies at important universities across the US.  Teaching has a central role in Thiago’s career. Currently, he is the instructor of clarinet at Utah State University. He is constantly invited to teach at music festivals, present lectures, and masterclasses at distinguished institutions in Brazil, Colombia, Portugal, USA and Canada. A strong believer in the social power of music, Thiago regularly brings music to his community, performing in Hospitals, Public Schools, Libraries and Nursing Homes. As a researcher, Mr. Ancelmo have presented lectures on Krzysztof Penderecki’s music for clarinet at national and international conferences, including most recently at ClarinetFest. Last October, he presented a lecture at the New Music Weekend, event organized by the International Clarinet Association where he offered an extensive list of Latin American works for solo clarinet as a referenceable resource to that community. A recipient of the prestigious Iowa Performance Fellowship granted by the University of Iowa, Thiago is a DMA candidate in Clarinet Performance and Pedagogy at Iowa. He received a MA with high distinction from the Hochschule fur Music der Stadt Basel in Switzerland, where he was awarded with the “Ruth und Hans Rapp Scholarship”, granted by the Rapp Foundation.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Hailed by the New York Times for her “rich tone” and “virtuosic panache,” violinist Francesca Anderegg delivers insightful accounts of contemporary and classical music. Through her inventive programming, active composer collaborations, and precise yet impassioned interpretations, Anderegg has earned renown as a musical explorer of the first order. Since her Carnegie Hall debut performance in 2008, Ms. Anderegg has given solo recitals in national and international venues, including Brooklyn's National Sawdust, The Arts Club of Washington, the National Museum of Colombia in Bógota, and many others across the world. Her three solo albums have been featured on radio programs throughout the country and noted for their “stunning virtuosity” (Fanfare Magazine), “lustrous tone” (The Strad Magazine), and “riveting listening experience” (Second Inversion). Her album "Wild Cities" was selected as a favorite of 2016 by New Music Box, and her most recent release, "Images of Brazil," was praised as “the most delightful disc of Brazilian chamber music to come along in years” (Fanfare Magazine).   Since she made her New York concerto debut performing Ligeti’s Violin Concerto with the Juilliard Orchestra, Ms. Anderegg has championed the artistic and emotional expression of works by 20th century and living composers. As concertmaster of the contemporary music ensemble AXIOM, she led Miller Theatre's production of Elliott Carter's opera What Next?, in a performance that was rated one of classical music's top 10 events of the year by Time Out magazine. She performed Daniel Schnyder's jazz-influenced Violin Concerto with Orchestra for the Next Century, and performed Pierre Boulez's orchestral and solo compositions under the direction of the composer at the Lucerne Festival in Switzerland. With her husband, the Venezuelan-American composer Reinaldo Moya, Anderegg has performed a series of original works exploring magical realism and other elements of Latin American literature and imagination. In 2019, she gave the world premiere of Moya's violin concerto at the Lakes Area Music Festival with celebrated conductor Gemma New. Anderegg holds an undergraduate degree from Harvard University and masters' and doctoral degrees from The Juilliard School, where her teachers included Robert Mann, Ronald Copes, and Naoko Tanaka. She is a laureate of the Corpus Christi Competition and winner of fellowships from both the McKnight Foundation and the Leonore Annenberg Fund.  An enthusiastic educator and mentor of young musicians, Anderegg was a professor of violin at St. Olaf College for 13 years, and has taught at many music festivals including Interlochen, Sarasota and the Brevard Music Center. She currently lives in the Boston area, and performs and tours nationally as a soloist, chamber musician, and guest concertmaster.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Regarded for thoughtful interpretations, compelling execution, and depth of understanding, cellist Eli Lara has been praised for creating “a sense of complete awe” As an ensemble and solo musician, she has performed across North America, South America, Asia, and Europe. Eli is a founding member of Trio Séléné with Mingzhe Wang and Ilya Poletaev; the trio’s recording of works for clarinet, cello, and piano by Fauré, Zemlinsky and Spanish composer Fernando Buide (commissioned by Séléné) was released in spring 2018. Dedicated to promoting contemporary music, Eli has worked with many composers including Buide, Krzystof Penderecki, Caroline Shaw, Christopher Stark, and Julia Wolfe. She has performed and/or premiered new works in numerous concerts and festivals including at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention, Berklee College of Music, Mizzou International Composers Festival, MoxSonic, National Sawdust, and Summergarden at the New York Museum of Modern Art. In Fall 2016, Eli joined the University of Missouri School of Music faculty where she also performs with the Esterhazy String Quartet. She previously taught at Austin Peay State University. She graduated from Yale University where she received a B.A. in molecular biophysics &amp; biochemistry and an M.M. in cello performance. A recipient of the C.V. Starr Doctoral Fellowship, she completed her D.M.A. at The Juilliard School.Eli performed as co-principal of the Gateway Chamber Orchestra, guest principal of the Paducah Symphony, and in the Nashville Opera Orchestra; while in the Nashville area, she also worked frequently as a studio recording musician. Highlights include recording with Willie Nelson as well as video games for Insomniac, Oculus Rift, and Electronic Arts including Madden 16.       <image:caption>Hailed for her “brilliant pianism” (Gramophone) and “acrobatic” performances (Take Effect), Taiwanese-American pianist Annie Jeng has performed widely as a solo and chamber musician at the Brancaleoni International Music Festival in Italy, the Gijón International Piano Festival in Spain, the Kennedy Center, New York City, China, and at numerous academic institutions as a guest artist. As an advocate for pushing the boundaries of traditional performances, Annie has performed and curated concerts at breweries, parking deck rooftops, intimate living room settings, and other unconventional spaces, all with the aim of making the arts more accessible and interdisciplinary. Annie has presented at Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) conferences at collegiate, state, and national levels, The National Conference of Keyboard Pedagogy (NCKP), and College Music Society (CMS) conferences. She is the current President of Greensboro Music Teachers Association (GMTA) and serves on the board for the North Carolina Music Teachers Association (NCMTA). Annie is also the Assistant Director of Piano for the Brancaleoni International Music Festival (brancaleonifestival.com) in Piobbico, Italy. Annie has commissioned and premiered dozens of new solo and chamber works. As a strong believer in creating a better and more equitable “normal” in the piano community, she also founded A Seat at the Piano (ASAP)  in the summer of 2020 (aseatatthepiano.com). ASAP is a non-profit that is dedicated to the promotion of inclusion in the performance and study of solo piano repertoire. In collaboration with the Frances Clark Center for Keyboard Pedagogy, she has co-created an online course on women composers, been invited to speak on panels, present workshops, and serves on the Career Development and Innovation subcommittee chair for NCKP. Annie received her DMA in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Michigan, where she also received her MM. She earned her BM in Piano Performance with a minor in Public Health from New York University. She is currently Assistant Professor of Piano and Piano Pedagogy at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.</image:caption>

Chelsea performs regularly with Khemia Ensemble, Utah Symphony, Ballet West, and steelworks steelband. Notable freelance appearances include White Christmas National Tour, Johnny Mathis, Spike Video Game Awards, Paducah Symphony (KY), AEPEX Contemporary Performance (MI), Rochester Symphony (MI), New Britain Symphony (CT), Nutmeg Symphony (CT), Adrian Symphony (MI), and the Artful Living Musical Theater Company (CT). A music educator to students of all ages, Chelsea is an Instructor of Music at Utah Valley University and has maintained a private percussion studio since 2009. Her debut etude book, Level Up! 15 Sequential Duets for the Developing Snare Drummer, is published by Tapspace. She received her MM in Percussion Performance and Chamber Music from the University of Michigan, a BM in Percussion Performance and Music Education from the Hartt School, and a Certificate in Arts Management from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.</image:caption>

He has recently performed with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the Sarasota Orchestra, and the North Carolina Symphony, and he was appointed Bass/3rd Clarinetist of the Cabrillo Festival Orchestra in 2020. Other festival appearances include the Lucerne, Bang on a Can, Hot Air, Sound Atlas, and Great Lakes Chamber Music festivals. “Truly a performer for the moment,” Andy has premiered 100+ works to date, published two books with Conway Publications, and has performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra on their MusicNOW series and with Miami’s Nu Deco Ensemble and Raleigh’s earspace.
